So I'm interested in some feed back on tires on Jill's Renegade. They say that a 31" tire would fit on the lift that I put on it. But I think that is to much tire . I was thinking of a 285 - 16, Bf Goodrich all terrain or Bf mud terrain. What are some thoughts?
31" seems big. Also this is a Fiat so get used to metric sizing. If you are sticking with factory wheels you may need to add wheel spacers. Based on what the daystar renegade runs my guess would be a 225/70-r17 or a 225/75-r16 depending on rim size. Also tire sizes vary between brands, a 235/65r17 from one brand may be a better fit than a 225/70-r17 from another.
I would find the wheels you want to run first and then see what others have done for spacers.
Here are some size charts so you can find the tire you want. Most brands will only make a couple of the possible similar sizes.
