I could tell you where...but then I'd have to kill you (secret fishing hole) mr-green

I tore a lug or a peice of shale cut it. Anyway, it has a hole/tear at the edge of one of the lugs. Everytime the tire rolls, it burps air out.

I used to wheel a lot. . .

Larry and George on the run now. Odds are pretty good for winning the poker hands. I'll bet Larry finds a way to win both the high and the low hands with the same cards lol

I wish. I'll probably get another old style MT/R if I can find a good used one.

George are you still going?

John, how many new people at the meeting said they were going, and I need to wait for at Starbucks?

Just one. A thin, grey-haired guy with a beard. I'm not sure how reliable he is (he's new) but I wouldn't wait past the meeting time. If he isn't there, just leave.

He was a new attendee at the last meeting. I have his name written down, but don't recall it off the top of my head. He drives a straight axle toyota 4x4 and a K5 blazer on 37's, I think.

At this point I can't see having a poker run with 2 or 3 people, I would like it to have some kind of challenge to it.

Maybe we can do it at the Sierra Trek.

So no poker run, just the triple trail run.

Find the campground = 1 card
Set up a tent = 1 card
Stack some rocks = 1 card
Spot a participant vehicle = 1 card
Help with dishes after Larry BBQs = 1 card

George just informed me that he won't be attending this run. So with that, Cole and I will be heading straight to Alpine Lake. I won't be going all the way to Eldorado Hills Starbucks to wait on a guy I don't know and may not show up anyway. Unless someone else knows for a fact he was showing up.

Joe and Sue, I will see you guys Saturday. Alex see you when you show up.

Is anybody able to drive over to Starbucks at 8:00? Somebody should at least be there in case this guy shows up. I'll do it if I have to, but I live further away than most.

Thanks Larry...you're awsome 8)

But don't wait too long for him. If he can't show up on time (8:00) then the heck with him. Just bail.

So, I guess the Triple Trail Trek turned into a Slick Rock run only lol

Maybe next year this will turn into a weekend run so more people can participate? If you still want to call it triple trail we could start early Saturday morning and run Strawberry pass to hwy 88. Then head over to Red Lake and run the Forestdale divide over to upper/lower blue lakes and camp for the night. From there you can run Deer Valley on Sunday to Hwy 4. I believe it was originally set up something similar to that, but was still utilizing the Friday. Just drop the Friday and make it Saturday and Sunday. I don't see a reason to take 3 days to run 2 intermediate trails.
