There is supposed to be a big event on the 27th and 28th, with over 100,000 sq ft of displays and 4-Wheel Parts Inventory. They state it is the lowest prices of the year!

Is anyone planning on going to the event? It's in San Mateo, at the Expo Center.

I'm heading down to check things out. We'll see if they are really offering the "Best prices of the year"...

Is anyone else considering this show? It's fairly close and an easy day trip. I'm not sure what to expect, but there should be more activity than at the CA4WD exhibit.

I'm out. We've got plans to break in some new snowshoes this weekend.

We are on the fence right now. I guess it depends on when my other two new snowshoes show up. Only three of five from Texas have made it so far.

Went to the show. TOTALLY different league than the previous weekend. They had 12 full manufacturer semi's inside the building. They had probably close to 50 vendors in there. Also, they had a clearance or make offer section. They had some of Lee's weld rims for $50 each, or offer.

The show had some new and cool stuff there on display as well. The show also had that orange JK. It was the original one that was photo'd pre-production. They had everything at least 10% off, and most was better than that. The axle I was looking at was 800 off. The front axle for my JK was over $1400 off! The front axle was a complete 60, with no factory parts used. It also included a full steering set up.

Kat took some pics. It was a fun show. I'd estimate there were over 1000 people, and most were buying. The check out line took 15 minutes and they had 26 registers open. We ran into Rick Russel there, as well as the guy we bought our gray TJ from. He said that Rubicon sold their deluxe 6.1 JK unlimited. A guy came in and said, "I want it no matter what it costs". RE sold it for quite a bit. Rubicon also has their silver 6.1 still.

Kevin, I'll need the compressor and bring you $$'s to the meeting.
