Kris convinced me to get a set of 3/4 inch to 1 inch spacers, so I can fit 285/70/17's on my Sport (still call it stock because that isn't enough to call it modified). So I am hoping for some advice on what brand spacers to go with?
I have looked at Rubicon take off rims and they are looking like $1000+ per set of 5 rims, and I can get Rough Country steels with -12mm backset for $85 each and I prefer that look. Not sure if the sensors can be moved from the old set to the new.
Also, I will be looking into some different brake lines. Looking to upgrade to a braided stainless steel as I plan on going to Power Stop Z36 brakes.

Ask around the club. Many people have the parts you need as spares. Like Rubicon Express extended brake lines - I may even have some of these still.
The front puck spacers are extremely common and maybe will only cost you a six pack. Steel wheels are inexpensive but can bend while aluminum doesn't typically. If you shop enough you can score wrangler wheels for a reasonable price. Stalk Facebook market place and low ball people until you score a set of wheels and tires.
Good luck! I'll check my garage tonight for you to see if there's any jeep stuff I haven't dumped/sold off.

I do appreciate that. I cant in good faith ask for things I dont pay for. And my Sport is a 2019, so not sure about what parts the club may have for a bottom rung of that year as most seem to have either older rigs or Rubicons.

There are Rubicon factory take offs for 750 in Lodi currently. You may be able to get the complete set of wheels and tires for 500-550. I am unsure on the JK/JL brake line fittement. Paying with a six pack is still paying. Its like the club hosting work parties to build jeeps, and the cost for the owner is just food. That's how club's work!

Just another thought for the JL. Rubicon springs and shocks can be found on the marketplace usually for less than $200. It's been a while since I looked into it but I believe the JLU springs will give the 2 door just a bit more of a lift than just getting the JL springs. If you want to get really crazy you can order just the lower control arms from the Mopar lift for about $80 and it will correct your suspension angles.

I can look into that. Do you know if there is a payload or towing capacity difference? Because I do tow with mine.

Rubicon's are typically rated a little higher if I recall.

On Market place, I am seeing Gladiator Rubicon suspension takeoffs for 325. Posting shows springs, shocks, sway bar end links and a pair of control arms. Only 900 miles on parts.

I don't know what/if/how Gladiator parts carry over to a JL. Hopefully Kris can chime in here since he knows both the JLU and JTs.

I talked to some extended family who is more heavily into modified Jeep up in Canada, and was informed that rear suspension design of the JT is significantly different from the JL. So that is a no go. I appreciate you looking into it.
Correct the JL and JT don't work together for rear suspension. Incase you haven't found it yet JLwranglerforums has a ton of info on which spring P/N's work best, and even a for sale section. As for the brake lines unless you just want stainless there is a lot of slack in the stock ones. Even when I had a Mopar lift on my JLU I never got close to over extending them. There is a bracket you have to remove on the front lines though.

I will look into that forum. I appreciate the data. I am looking at wanting the upgraded stainless lines when I upgrade to the drilled and slotted rotors for max braking under load.
Skip the drilled and slotted rotors, just pick up mud and rocks on jeeps. If you want to improve braking then you want bigger and heavier rotors. Honestly the JL brakes are rock solid for 37s stock so you dont have anything to worry about until your jeep gets bigger.

The brake concern I have is for when I tow at my max weight. Is it possible to go bigger with a 17 inch rim? Most kits I have seen listed say 18 or bigger.
You are legally limited to like 3,500lbs and have the same brakes as JTs rated at 7,650lbs. Zero reason to worry about brakes while towing or otherwise until you are on 37s.

Are Teraflex spring spacers any good? I am really wanting to get a bit more height, and the next time I need tires I can go bigger as I will have the room. Oh, and I believe longer shocks will be a must.
A regear will be on my list to do, however with parts alone being over $1000 and the labor being on top of that I will have to wait. Has anyone in the club done their on regear on the M186 or M220 axles? I am also considering weld on trusses.

Spacers are spacers, as long as they aren't metal then brand really doesn't matter but yes Teraflex is good.
Brian just did a regear on his JT which has M210 and M220 axles and he did a regear on his JLU a couple years ago as well. I have a sport JT front axle available if you want to upgrade to a M210 before spending money on the M186, should be straight drop in except for maybe the front driveshaft but Brian might have one of those available shortly.
