All depends on your priorities. Toyos are easiest to balance if you have wobble issues. Toyos, MTRs, and Swampers have a 38" size. STT Pros are one of the few with a 37x13.5 if you like a wider tire. Swampers and Treps are going to be the stickiest tires but dont expect much life out of the tread. Toyos, BFGs, Razr MTs, Pro Comps, and MTZ p3s all have proven reputation or have treadwear warranties and are best bets for daily drivers. Swampers and Treps are some of the worst for treadwear so not a good choice for the daily driver. STT Pros and MTRs fall somewhere in the middle as far a treadwear. Cant speak to the treadlife on the pit bulls but we have a few in the club running them. Other tires I havent run/dont know anyone who has run them include the Grabber X3, new Geolander, Cepek Extreme Country, and the Deegan 38s (but buck is running these so we should know how well they perform after a few more runs).
Call MC Motorsports before the meeting because he gets a really good discount on a couple brands much better than others. I think it was the toyos that he could get in a similar price to the other options.

One thing of note, tires are an incredibly competitive market. Companies are constantly introducing new compounds and outdoing eachother. The best tire today is going to be middle of the road in a few short years unless the company updates the compound. New tires are far and away better than they have even been so if you ever wheeled on 1990s MTs then you will be happy with pretty much any of the major brand MTs on the market today.
