Yes, but is a hotdog a sammich?
Well that’s a rather complicated question. If you take hot dogs, split them and fry them a little (or not) and put them between 2 pieces of bread, than ye, that’s a sammich. However, if it is the normal hot dog, boiled, fried or grilled and placed between a split hot dog bun (with or without sesame seeds), then no, it’s a hotdog not a sammich…
Just my 2 cents….

From the Internet... FYI
"Chili con carne, meaning "chili with meat", is a spicy stew containing chili peppers, meat, tomatoes and often kidney beans. Other seasonings may include garlic, onions, and cumin. The dish originated in northern Mexico or southern Texas.
Does real chili have beans? An authentic Texas Chili, or chili con carne, will not have beans. Simple answer. When this recipe/dish originated, there were no beans, no onion, no tomato added. There was a concern that it would resemble a stew and not a chili."Just sayin...
So I just checked with Biden's information czar and she said that just because some dude declared no bean chili the official food of Texas in 1977 doesn't mean that chili has no beans. So chili had beans for over 200 years prior.
Since Texas is a red state that website will be marked as disinformation so Chili has Beans!
Chili was created in Northern Mexico and Southern Texas… so I’m thinking whatever any administration says, it doesn’t matter! Y’all are wrong. Just all wrong. !!

Well as a two-time posse chili cook off winner. My chili has beans, and we can call it American style chili.
Well let’s see. You made chili in California. And you put beans in it. And a bunch of people from California ate and voted on this bean-filled chili spiced concoction. So, it goes to reason you might have won! Duh! Take your beans to a Texas cook-off (where it was invented) and see how you do!
