So Gil was telling to post something on here about getting a build team together to help put my 3.5" short arm lift om my TJ. I don't know if I can get help yet being that I'm just a prospect and not yet a full fledged member. But let me know where to post it or if I have to wait till I'm a full fledged member. Thanks guys

I am happy to help as long as there is cold beer and a level place to work. Ive done a few TJ lifts in the past so easy weekend project that will go faster with a few people helping. Trick is finding a weekend that works for everybody.
-What year is the TJ? Any rust on the suspension components?
-What brand is the lift? New, used, mixed brands pieced together?
-Doing a SYE at the same time?
-Any tools you need us to bring? Floor jack, jack stands, mallet/deadblow hammer, socket set, spring compressors, impact gun, brake line wrench, BFH, etc?

No level space at my place I live in Newcastle on a hill. It's an 02 TJ no rust, it's a used skyjacker kit with Rubicon express breaklines. Not doing a SYE at this time just a 1" t-case crossmember drop. I will supply beer and food
I live about 20 minutes east of Mike in Meadow Vista. I have a level, concrete apron in front of my garage and I would be happy to provide a location for Mike's project if he needs one. I have basic tools plus an air compressor and an impact gun. Unfortunately I don't have a 220 outlet in my garage for a welder, if that is a requirement. We also have a swimming pool that would come in handy on a hot day! Let me know if you're interested.

My shop is available with most tools and compressor. I have 220 volt outlet, but no good welder (yet). Throw out a day and let's see if it sticks. Gas barbecue is available as is the pool.
Rich you have been very generous with offering your shop to the club. I'm unable to offer a place for people to work on their rigs but i'd like to offer to you my help if you need any additional electrical in your garage. you buy the material and i'll help with what ever you would like. lights, extra outlets, 110, 220 etc...

Well this short arm kit doesn't need any welding but thanks for the offer of the welder. I just need someone or couple people with some know how to help me out with the lift. I'm free just about every weekend and I'll bring food and drinks if we can set up something. I really appreciate the offer of your shop Rich

Depending in the date maybe this is a build party we can make it to to help out. Guy can roll around on the floor and under the rig while I make sure the pool water stays at a constant temperature. I will occassionally come check on the progress and say a cheer for ya!
That is the definition of a team player. Lynda always willing to take one for the team! gooooo Lynda

Cant do this weekend but I should be able to help one of the 3 following weekends. Since this is a used kit I have a few questions. If I see any issues I can dig through my TJ parts pile and see if we can find a solution. I am confident we can get your lift done in a day so long as we have the tools and the Jeep isnt rusty. Note that there are workarounds for all of these questions.
-Is this vehicle your daily driver?
-Does the kit have a front track bar? Is it a heim style?
-Did the kit come with a drop pitman arm?
-Does the kit have a rear track bar bracket?
-Are the control arms adjustable?
-Did you get the bumpstop extensions with the kit?
-Did you get the transfer case shift linkage relocation bracket with the kit?
