Considering the Forest Service has been required to close many trails lately I'd be concerned most published books would be out of date. You could pick up a motor vehicle use map at any Forest Service office or download the maps for Eldorado NF in pdf format here - http://www.fs.usda.gov/detail/eldorado/ ... rdb5357470. Other Forest Service offices probably have similar maps.
