ok, i came home after getting my mail from the mailbox and to my surprise, there was a letter from rancho pd, My truck was found 2 days ago and is at the tow center. before i go i need to pay rancho $114 before i go to yard and pick it up. not sure how this works but i appears that i might have to pay storage and towing fees before i can take it home, hopefully not, especially since the cop told me to keep my cell by my side at all times since i would recieve a call when they located it. .. o, and the letter describes that the wheels are gone. 🙁 i feel happy but weird and confused at the same time.

Any update? Did you get the runner back yet? Can you use AAA to get it back to your house?
I was on the phone with my insurance today (speaking about other things) and asked about theft. They told me it was covered under comprehensive. I asked how much I pay for 00 Jeep on comprehensive. They said it is $43 a year. Hopefully you can get AAA to offer you a reasonable rate on your truck.
Good luck!

its back home. thanks keane for all your help. ill post a pic later. basically they stole the rims and tires and whatever was in the glovebox and center console. broke the center console. what was weird is that the ignition wasnt tampered with and they actually locked it after they abandoned it. probably need new brakes as the tow truck company dragged it when they recovered it and when they parked it at the yard. they were happy i had the keys because they couldnt get into it. thanks to heidi, she found out that because the officer did not notify us by phone that they found our car before they called for a tow, that we r not liable for any towing or storage charges. also the fee to rancho was waived. also we needed lug nutts so we went to toyotamart on sunrise and he gave us 24 lugg nutts for free. 😐

sounds like a plan......thanks howdy... 😀
I will roll out to the storage shack in a little bit and make they are still there. They should be. If so I will load them up tonight and I can drop them by your place at like 1am and put them up by your garage or just drag them home and we can figure out something later.

I just loaded them in the back of the Expy and surprising only 1 of the 5 was low on air. I will just bring them home from work with me. It would probably be easier for you to pick them up in Folsom than have to drive downtown to my work. I will PM you my number as they will be ready for you anytime tomorrow morning AM on.....
Its amazing what people from work will store here without even managements knowledge. I found a 50's pickup/hotrod in there with transmissions, axles, front suspension strewn about. A nice newer 4 door Honda Civic tucked in the corner of the building under a tarp. A cherry picker, misc other stuff and of course my rims and tires. Guess I'm not the only one looking for a free place to keep junk.

Yeah, it could have been allot worse.
Right on Alex, sounds like you will be rolling in no time. 😀
Looks like the worst of the damage was done by the tow company.
Heidi is the real money saver here. Saved a ton of cash since she took the time to look up the CA vehicle code. Not sure of the section, but they have to let you know before they tow it. Alex's fees are on RCPD. 8)
