Those will be great with your gears! You'll be able to burn out like crazy, but you'll only be able to go about 50 on the freeway. 😀

Look and see if the rim width is put on the rim or maybe a quick google search will have the answer. I thought the rims were only like 7" wide, but i might be wrong. Other than that there is probably no reason not to mount bigger tires on those rims.

update.
put howdys spare rims and various maker tires on the 4runner this last weekend. the most difficult thing about this last weekend was cutting parts of the front dust shield so that it wasnt rubbing on the rotors. same for the rear. i had to true up the rear backing plates or dust shield otherwise the rear rims would rub against the metal plate and make a horrible sound. anyway. here she is.
