I remember one trip to Fordyce. I was trying to climb back up Sunrise Hill and I wasn't having much luck on this one rock. I tried and tried but just couldn't get enought traction to get over it, even with both lockers engaged. I was about ready to take a strap when I noticed my air compressor wasn't turned on embarassed

I used to wheel a lot. . .

If you were satisfied before wait until you try it now! You're going to love it! lol

I know! I can't wait to try it now that it really works!

Maybe I should believe I've got 4:1 t-case gears too.

I took my new powersteering pump for a test drive and found this along with a wicked vibration. 🙁 Howdy and Larry know what it is. NorCal had better learn. Anyone else got a guess?

PS...I'm darn glad I made it home from Fordyce. 😯

Isn't that one of the bolts that holds your bearing, or whatever it's called, on the top of your steering knuckle? I'm thinking it the same thing that broke on your Cruiser when we towed you out backwards on Strawberry.

Must have been too easy. You're right. It holds the steering arm onto the knuckle which essentially holds the wheel on the housing.

Based on the rust, it's been broken for a while. I tore the axle down before Dusy last year. I haven't messed with it since then.

Not necessarily too easy, I just got a lot of time to look at those parts on your Cruiser.
