My kids picked up an internet virus (or something) while browsing the web. It's driving me nuts. Screens just pop up randomly, like a "Dunb Test" and "Baseball Chat" and others. Also, I can't stay logged into my forums any more. Every time I sign on the web, I have to sign on to my forums (like this one). Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...............
I used to wheel a lot. . .

how about a virtual work party:)
I'd rather help people learn to help themselves. If they have an extra PC and want to install ubuntu, or some other linux I'll be happy to answer questions, but the real answers are on the web, so you need a working computer to surf to learn how to setup the other one.
Kindof like having only one jeep and thinking about running 40" MTRs on it. At some point you'll need to drive something else to fetch parts.
I don't think ubuntu is for everyone, just like I don't think it makes sense for everyone to run 40" MTRs.
My ubuntu system is not my daily driver. Its not compatible with work stuff so I still use XP-pro more than I'd like to.
