I might have some wheel spacers you could "test". I ran some for a while and never really had a problem with them. I know some don't like them. Extra leverage, but you run smaller tires then most.

MIne is 5x5.5

So are mine! That means you can run my spare on your vehicle in an emergency!

Thanks Carl for the info.

On Sat when I was airing up, I thought I heard a copter, but didn't see anything. Then I saw an ambulance come up 50. Then I saw the lifeflight copter leave. I don't know any details on what happened while I was there. Since yours was the previous day, I didn't notice any cars, or crime scene tape...

It looks better than new!

I've also heard it handles better, correct?

Yes jeep has been "tuned". And is driving better than before. I just have to make sure nothing hits at full lock/ stuff.

However both my jeeps ended up with modified axles. And, both my jeeps ran stock motors. I'm not sure what an extra 200 hp (and 200 ft/lbs of torque) might do to the setup.

Do you think just running 1 12" spacers on just the front and not in the back (clearance issues on fender) would be a problem?

I would run front and rear. The added width will make you feel more stable. Plus it wouldn't look as goofy with the stance. But to each their own and their own budget.

My spacers are 5x4.5. Bummer.

Um...what?

You saying I look goofy? I'm quite a bit wider in the front.

Outside of looks, wider up front is ok. Wider in the rear would be a bad thing (under steer). Of course I could diet to solve the rear problem as well. mr-green

I was thinking maybe it would give it the Citroën DS car look. I should get air shocks in back so it squats when I shut it off. Then Lori could get in and out easer.

Hey Guys, here's some pictures from the Strawberry Pass run back in May. Meant to post these up sooner, but summer got away. Thanks for letting me join on the fun!
