Trail recap for me:
it was great to be back on the trail with the club! I brought a friend with a mildly modified rubicon JL. He has limited experience but wanted to challenge himself. The trail was much more challenging than I thought it would be. I appreciate the help the run participants gave in spotting and guiding Tom. He had a great time and really enjoyed the group.
Once we made it to camp, a few of us explored the area and also hiked to the plane crash. I was surprised how much debris there was still. It was a short 1.4 miles to the plane, but started with a gut check climb right at the beginning.
We headed out the next morning at 11am and ran into a bit of traffic but it was fairly smooth going out with minimal spotting needed.
I broke a beadlock bolt, and we lost two air compressors. I think that is all the damaged sustained outside of some new scrapes on a few control arms, rock sliders, and diff covers. Pictures posted!
Um...what?
