Hello!!
Let's welcome Spring in the right way for a family-friendly off-road club!
First of 2 camp outs for this year. MAY 17-19.
This is a super fun event in an established campground and you can drive the family car there. It's a beautiful setting.
I have C-Section reserved, which is a large area that fits several camping sites. They have a covered dome with 10 tables, 6 chairs per table. It has electricity, a new roof, and fans. We are allowed to bring extra tables and chairs and set up propane heating if the weather is brisk!
In the past, we have had fantastic horseshoe tournaments, corn hole tournaments, water balloon fights, croquet, giant Jenga, table games and Trivial Pursuit (from 1985!!). We set up a projector, a screen on the side of the dome, and a sound system for movies. Bring your bicycles and ride around the lake!
Everyone pitches in and brings copious amounts of food, drinks, desserts, and fun! This is a great event to bring all the family, including pets, and just hang out.
Not everyone camps. Some come for the day and evening dinner.
$45/night for camping.
$12/day use.
No wood fires are permitted. Only propane or charcoal.
They usually have an ice cream social at their clubhouse. It may not happen this year, the social coordinator may be retiring, but she still has not set a final date. I've asked her to wait until we get to come and play.
Please let me know if you intend to go and if you are camping or just coming for the day. Even though you will stop at the Center and pay for your use, I still need to give my contact an idea of how many.
These events have always been time well spent and great memories are made.
Check out the website. It's a beautiful spot. (More known as "glamping" now than camping!)

I hope to see all of you there with all your family!
