I got a call for rescue, which typically I love to do. I remember the time Larry and I ran up to the overlook at the top of Cadillac Hill at around 10:00 pm. Turns out we were on the wrong end of the Rubicon. We had to drive (fast) clear back around to Loon and go in that way. Several times I've got called out to Fordyce and I've had to call for help myself a time or two. Ah, good times. However, this time, I couldn't break away until later in the evening. Thankfully there were others available. Having many contacts is important because sometimes people can't drop everything and run up there.
I used to wheel a lot. . .

If I'm not stepping on anyone's toes I will volunteer to put the list together. I can also put the tow company's yall have recommended on it as well and any more/other information u think might be helpful. Just let me know.
I really think we need to create a new position? Gold Hills Posse Secretary !!! The Honorable Lynda Seymour as the first nominee.
If I can't build it, then it's something that should be bought.

Wow, lots of action...
Add my name and number to the "In case of emergency" list. I am basically in Georgetown now, so fairly close to many of the trails. I have the Jeep, and a Dodge truck to work with. My flatbed trailer could probably handle a TJ (I will test it out this week let ya'll know).

I'm not recommending or vouching for any particular tow company, so don't put then on any list you may be making. I just didn't want people to confuse the two because of the name similarity. Because I don't have AAA, I would just rather call a CHP rotation tow because they are regulated by the CHP and are therefore held accountable for response time, equipment, etc.

But remember, my tow was $490 with a deal. Sierra would have been $625 +.
AAA is $120 a year, or $240 sine it was two years since my last tow.
