Depending on snow conditions, I’m thinking about heading down Alder Creek Rd early to where the old barn and cabin are (used to be?), or as far as we can get depending on time, and then heading back for lunch.

We're all packed and rig checked over.
I'll have stuff for sandwiches, s'mores, hot chocolate and coffee for everyone, plus 2 fire pits and a bunch of wood.
Can't wait to see everyone tomorrow it's been a long time coming for this... for me at least

Great shorts day with a lot of sun. Had a blast with everyone and thanks Mike for bringing the sandwiches and Stace for the homemade cookies.
The day was made interesting when Jamie had to break out the angle grinder to make his rig capable of driving home.
Stace your Jeep did just fine. You definitely know it is more capable than a Nissan Xterra and a Kia Sportage which you had to rescue.

All you have to do is go to the photo gallery and select "Add Photos" then scroll through the Gallery list (Click the Down Arrow "v" after "Create a new gallery") search for "2024-02-25 Snow Patrol "and select it.(Last One)
From there you drag and drop the photos in the boxed area below. I download the photos from my phone to the computer to make it easier for me. Someone else may have suggestions of doing it directly from your phone.

I made it home also. Different trip for me than normal with the littles tagging along. We had a fun time playing in the snow, driving crazy and roasting marshmallows. Thanks everyone for all the generosity as well. Great group and friends.

I don't have any pics of your rescues. I was busy!
Had a great time everyone! It was sure fun to have time to catch up and just be out in some great weather. The Kia was rescued twice buy two different club groups! They were another Kirkwood Nav victim. Lots of people up there, and we did see one USFS law enforcement vehicle as well. People were also driving into the Alpine County side of the trail, which is supposedly "closed".
The Bronco did well for its first real snow experience.
