Breakfast is up to you. I plan to be up early enough to eat at camp before I go.
On Thursday we need to be at the trail at 1:45.

My jeep's Nav can't locate the lake (or Fordyce trail, or the Rubicon)!

If memory serves, it actually looks like google does a pretty good job getting you there.

How about a sign that says "BRAD PARK HERE!" 😀
Who has the banner?
"BKGM Jeepers" wrote: I can bring the ready-welder. I have two batteries as well, so we'd have it available on the trail if needed. Should I bring everything?
I'm not sure I'd bring the welder. By the time they hit WH5 they're close to professional help. Seems like there's a lot of liability associated with welding up something for someone, but maybe I'm just paranoid.

The only places I know of are gas stations. 😀 9:00 at this one? http://maps.google.com/maps?f=.....& ... 8&t=h&z=17

I don't think we want to be offering to weld anything for anyone. One issue is liability as Keane mentioned. On top of that are the fire restrictions. I believe welding is prohibited right now.
Speaking of fire, does anyone have a fire permit? We shouldn't need one in an established campground, but it couldn't hurt to have it.

Sounds good to me. I'll top off the tank on the motorhome while we're there.
Have you been to this gas station before? I'm wondering about rv accessability. When I'm flat towing the Jeep I have to be careful because I can't back up.

There's actually a Chevron and a 76 there, when you get there, pick the one that looks the easiest to get in and out of and we'll keep an eye out for you. I've been there, but didn't check it out with a "towing" eye.

OfflineI'm looking at the map, but wondering, "is this the cut off for 89 north"?
Is it the last gas for the run to the lake?
Any ideas how far to the lake? Should I carry 5gals of extra fuel for the runs back and forth to WH5?
I would be up for meeting, but didn't want to follow Fred in to Meadow lake in his RV, getting dust inside the new jeep!
Have times been finalized? 9AM at the gas station?

Excellent Directions! Makes it clear how to get there. Plus, with my gearing correct (more or less), I should be close on the mileage numbers...

OfflineI googled our house to the campground.

Looks shorter, but not the best route!

Do you think it would be alright to run the trail at night while we are there? We could wheel down to W3 and back up. That would be fun.
I guess I should have put the rock lights on this past weekend. Maybe I'll try tonight.

x2
What's the scoop this week?
You can run it. Thursday it will be packed and people will be stacking 1&3 on Wednesday.
Oh wait, that was a trick question. Brad doesn't wheel. I was supposed to say, "It'll be super packed all week. There's no way you should even try it."
