OfflineDon’t you have hydro assist? How does your wheel come off center with hydro assist? I haven’t had that happen, and I drive like you Do!
The first time I still had stock steering and bent it. The second time I snapped the drag link end and didn’t get it perfectly straight with the trail fix. The third time the zip tie broke off and the wires rubbed raw against the tire on the freeway.
There won’t be a fourth time since I can flip the kill switch now. 🙂

Sounds like you need better zip ties, have you tried bailing wire?

New center crossmember is in, and evap canister relocated above rear axle. I think I lost a half inch of clearance replacing the crushed crossmember. And don’t mind the duct tape on the evap canister. A new one is on order.
Kevin, those canisters are readily available. When I replaced mine, several dealers had them. Will your suspension stop before it comes in contact with the canister? If not, may be a good idea to make it do so, for peace of mind.

All of the relocation kits I have seen put it above the axle in that location. If my axle gets that high, I likely have bigger problems. Dealers want $195. Found it online for $140 and free shipping. It’s on its way. 🙂

OfflineMy canister is in the same location. You can’t hit it, even with the axle fully compressed.

Corners are EVO, tailgate panel is Warrior, and lights are Max-Bilt
Where did you get the Max-bilt lights for the cheapest. Seems like they are $191 everywhere. Was thinking of picking some up for y Genright corners.
Marc at MC Motorsports
I see no prices on his webiste. What does he sell them for? Significantly less than the $191? Or is everyone held to that price through Max-Bilt?

Call and say you are with the Club and coming to the meeting or just ask at the meeting. Generally Marc or his staff will look up on their system what they will sell it for. Prices will vary between brands based on what accounts they have. I have gotten really good deals on ARB twin compressor and winches, like hundreds lower than the lowest online price. Other parts, MetalCloak parts for example, I haven't gotten any better discounts than I can get on my own.

Gotcha.....Didn't realize they were affiliated with the club in one way or another.
