They're Radflo which I really know nothing about. I got them from PRG in Newcastle and the guy there is kind of a Nissan guru. He's been in the suspension business for a while and I trust his judgement. He has them set up specifically for these trucks. He actually had a brand new (on loan from a local dealer) Nissan cargo van in the back of his shop which is going to be the foundation of the 1-ton diesel Titans due out in the next year or two. He was designing parts for a lift. Could be a heck of a truck and if they pull it.

I don't ever see myself SASing this truck but, your timing is amazing. I'm headed down to pick up this stuff this afternoon...

That's what the guy at the shop said. Sounded like they were close to a deal with caterpillar but cat wanted them to prepurchase a bunch of units and it just didn't pencil out. Looks like they're testing out a small Cummins. 8)

PRG is one of the few shops that does a lot of Nissan work and they're in Newcastle. I asked but they don't do anything Jeep. 🙁

I was actually going to put skis on the front end since I really want this thing to work well in the snow.
How about tracks?

What's your initial opinion of the tires?
I have about 500+ miles of mixed driving including some wet weather on my Duratracs so I figured I’d give a quick update. I’ve had them back to the shop for a balance problem already and a few of the first hundred miles or so were miserable. I think I almost lost a filling on one of my trips to Sacramento they vibrated so badly. 😀 They found that both of the rear tires were out of balance which seems like an install error as opposed to a lost weight or something. The balance still doesn’t feel great so I may take them somewhere else to see if it’s the shop that’s the problem.
The noise from the tires is very reasonable and similar to my old Toyo ATs.
I haven't noticed any significant change in the gas mileage.
The ride is a bit rough. I think my old tires rode better. I keep dropping the pressure in the Duratracs because I think they’re over inflated based on the wear but I’m at the point that my low tire pressure light is on (32psi) so I’m going to have to figure out some compromise on that. Some of the ride may be related to the balance…
Wet weather traction is good. I did some very scientific "skid pad" testing on the wet pine needles around my house yesterday. I was able to break the rear end loose but I was really impressed at how well I was able to regain control. I'm really looking forward to using them in the snow!

The truck survived the tornado...we all know what theses trucks are capable of: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v.....5bpVJJlI6s
Unfortunately...the internet did not. Still no idea when that is going to be back online. 🙁
