Very interesting to watch the thought process involved here. You guys amaze me with your research and knowledge. I wish I had a fraction of your mechanical skill and knowledge.

It's all about your internet web wheeling abilities...ninja

Um...what?

No doubt. I must have spent about 10 hours just reading through various threads on the internet.

I used to wheel a lot. . .

Bit the bullet yesterday... I went up to WFO and wrote them a BIG FAT CHECK.

They will be doing all the welding and installation for me because I'm a lazy bastard.

Build list: Spicer Ultimate 60s 5.38 gears, Synergy weld-on track bar bracket, 1350 drive lines, new parking brake cables, HD master cylinder, sPOD switch panel, new Method wheels, and they will inspect all the control arm bracket welds and make sure the hubs are on tight. Am I missing anything Kevin? This Jeep will hopefully be fairly "worry-free" on my little 37 inch tires. 🙂

I used to wheel a lot. . .

This build sounds awesome!!!! WFO has done a great job on my Jeep!  Have you had any other work done by them?  I can't wait to see how it turns out!

This is the first time I've been to WFO. But I was impressed when they crawled all through and under my Jeep to check for proper clearances and parts to make sure we could get this done. Shows an attention to detail and inspires confidence. I've always paid to have my own axles installed, personal preference, but have helped several others install theirs. I could do it myself (with help) but I'm tired of hefting heavy axles and laying on the cement for hours at a time. Install date is March 13th...

John,

I am sure you are going to be very pleased with WFO.  They really know what they are doing!  Zack is the mechanic that has done all the work on my Jeep.  He works as a mechanic on the Rubicon Trail for the Jamborees.  He has seen it all and knows what to look for.  What I really like about WFO is that they have many years of on the trail experience.  Most importantly, Trevor the owner of WFO, has a very hands on approach to the business and makes sure that whatever they do it is done right and is always there to help you talk through the pros and cons of what you want to do.  Last of all he never try's to up sell you on stuff you don't need.

WFO is a great shop with great people!

Looks like you're pretty well covered. Will you be reusing your tie rod and drag link? Did you already upgrade those?

The Jeep is in the shop, the axles are installed, and they just ordered the drive shafts. I should have the Jeep back on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Jeep is done, sort of...

They called to tell me the Jeep was done and said, "Good news, we didn't use the Synergy track bar mount so that saved you $150.00"

I didn't spend a small fortune on new axles to save $150.00 on a critical part. I asked them to pull the Jeep back in and weld it on. I can wait an extra day.

If you know something is a weak point, and the customer deliberately says to upgrade it... wouldn't you want to make sure that it gets done ???confused???

I used to wheel a lot. . .
