I'd have to see a picture of Kevin's.

But I assume I'd just route it between the upper and lower arms.

Yep, mine is between upper and lower control arms.

If you can get slack in the cable it's easy. If the cable is really tight it might be easier to leave it alone and take off the LCA and put it back on.

How about having the installer who screwed it up, fix it for free?

I agree. I would call WFO and talk to them about your concerns. If it wasn't done properly, they should fix it for free.

Seems like it would waste more time and gas taking it back than it would take to make the simple fix yourself. To each their own I guess. 🙂

Talked to Trevor at WFO about the brake cable to see why it was mounted under the control arm. I was just curious, you never know, there may have been a legitimate reason for doing it that way. Turns out a customer had his brake cable melted by the exhaust so the tech installed mine below to keep it from melting. I am going to move it back up and zip-tie it so it doesn't contact the exhaust. Mystery solved.

Also, my stock drive lines are up at WFO if anybody has need of them. You'd just have to run up there and pick them up.

So the tech felt that placing the brake line in contact with rocks was the better option?

'"O" stands for open, and not off road.  That was my bad...

Ill stop being a smart A%@ now.

I'd be interested to see how they were installed. I attached the brake cable tab to the spring retainer bolt. I have a 3"- 4" gap from the exhaust pipe and no sign of melting.

I have never had a brake/exhaust contact problem and mine is installed similar to Kevin's.

 It's tight but it clears...

Actually, ALL the clearances are very, very tight with only 3 inches of lift.

The tie rod, drag link, and track bar bracket are almost touching at full turn and droop.

It took a lot of "tweaking" by WFO to get everything to fit "just right". But by the time they were done everything fits perfectly and cycles fully without contact.

Glad I paid to have it done LOL.

Tight is right. Lol. Mines close also. Kevin said his hit and I'm wondering if mine will too.

Um...what?

Just an FYI. If you clear and run 40s, you have plenty of room and nothing hits or binds...   just saying!
