Wow!! Looks great!!
What's your thoughts on the synergy kit so far?
I like it now that it's complete. It rides really nice and all the steering feels good. We set everything the way the instructions said and the Jeep drives perfectly without any re-adjustments.
It's got decent flex but not fantastic. Of course that's comparing it to my old TJ long arm kit that flexed like crazy. I'm sure it will be more than enough on the trails and I'm sure it's comparable to a lot of the standard length arm kits that are sold.
Everything fit really good and went together pretty easily. The big pain in the butt parts were the front shock mounts and the tie rod flip kit. They took the most time to get done and it didn't help that the front shocks had the wrong sized sleeves. The nicest parts were the beefy track bar brackets and they were super easy to install. The high steer works perfectly with no bump steer, feels stock. All the parts are strong and well thought-out. I'm happy with it.

OfflineAll the control arms were replaced.
Drag link took time because the initial taper effort didn't work to our satisfaction. As a result we re-drilled and sleeved it. Then the sleeve was tight so it took a lot of time getting the nut on far enough to clear a cotter pin.
Both Front and rear track bars were retained. But both were reinstalled in to beefed up lower brackets.

Cool, does that flip feel solid or can someone screw up the knuckle doing it wrong?
The flip kit comes with a drop in bung. You have the choice to use a tapered bit or drill it straight and drop in the tapered bung. Smart money says to try the taper bit first and if that doesn't work well then go ahead and drill it for the bung. Although a lot of work, it's rock solid and steers like stock. And yes, you could screw up your knuckle doing it, which is why I let Brad do the drilling ![]()

OfflineSo, my list of to do items. . .
I still need to install the rocker guards, the tube fenders, the tire carrier and spare, reprogram the tire size, and set the tpms to zero.
Then it's sleeve, gusset, and add diff covers. Probably throw on a new front drive shaft too rather than wait for the stock one to give it up.
I'm hoping to have all this done soon so that I can go on the Trail Maintenance Run. My plans for this season is to go on a few moderate runs with it to shake everything down before I tackle a run like the Rubicon. Don't want to break, scratch, or dent the new rig too soon.
