Jerry here (FJ Cruiser)... I'm planning on coming. I've got 3 open seats, but the back seat of the FJ is kind of cave-ish. Looks like Chris has some options.
Jeff... sent a PM with my mobile just in case. See you tomorrow!

I don't see the message with your number but that sounds great.  See everyone. I'm the morning.  Thanks Jerry

We had a fun and productive day on the Bear Valley Loop Trail. Everyone arrived in Truckee early. We hit the trail around 10am and were off the trail shortly after 4pm. Not only was it an enjoyable day, we did a lot of vegetation mitigation, marking the trail and planning for Sierra Trek. Thank you to all of those who showed up for this run. The drive up was beautiful with clear, blue skies and an nice layer of fog over Donner Lake. As the day went on the clouds started to build. We had morning sun and afternoon cloudy weather with a fair amount of thunder but not a real safety threat, but there were a few times that I was concerned that it might get bad. We had a nice light rain towards the end to the trip which kept the dust down but didn't produce mud. All in all, another great Posse day on the trail. The only carnage occurred at the Shell Gas Station (I think) but that will be a good story for our next meeting.

Thanks Jeff and Kris for planning a fun run today.  Beautiful drive through the forest with some great views and a nice lunch at the campground.  Made it home by 7:00 for dinner safe and sound.

For those that run Jeeps, do anyone have any "go-to" places for replacement body parts? I am looking for a color matched rear tailgate for a 2019 JL. Olof suggested J&W Wreckers, and I plan to call them this week. Just looking for other options as well. (turns out my tailgate got tweaked on the latch side and doesn't close right). I did find a place online that claims it can do it, but I wanted to ask.

Was able to find one from an auto wrecker for about 700, with everything but the hinges and tire carrier already installed. Much better price then the 1400 for a bare tailgate.

I think i have a set of factory hinges in the parts pile. Would be mojito green but easy to color match with a touchup spray can.

I think my hinges are ok, or at least plan to try them first. I will let you know if something changes.

You should be able to just pop that back out using the glue gun/tab technique, no?  May be a much cheaper option.  I have used the approach a few times using a kit I bought of Amazon for like 30 bucks.
