I am thinking about doing a 2 night trip through the rubicon mid week this summer Monday July 10th through Wednesday July 12th. I saw some interest on a previous post and wanted to see if we can get so something more definitive. Who would be interested?
UPDATE: Meet Monday in the spillway @830, hopefully on the trail by 9. Camp at Buck Monday night. Camp on the slabs at the springs Tuesday, then head out through Tahoe on Wednesday. I will be on Posse ch1

I am interested, but have a work commitment Tue. Jul 11 I cant miss. If you settle on different dates (e.g., following week), let me know. Thanks
Edit... I was able to talk my way out of my work commitment to free up these dates to join in. Looking forward to it and to checking out the RTF property.

I have not, I wasn't sure what type of turn out we would have. When I posted it, it was a little bit far out for most people to plan. I can when we get a better read count or if someone else wants to take up that part, that would be be fine with me also.
I was curious and just checked Rubicon Springs website and noticed they already have reservations for Pine Camp 🙁 If we want to just take our chances, I believe the slabs are open and are first come, first serve. Or, we could reserve Rocky Point or get like two or three sites in Main Camp or VIP camp. Any preferences?

I don't personally have any preferences as it has been years since I have actually camped at the springs. Have you stayed there in recent years, and if so, would you want to arrange the camping reservations. If I reserve the sites, I would just be guessing or asking others for recommendations on which spots they like. Either way would be fine with me. As of now it looks like 5 have said yes (myself, Brain, Sean, Jeff, Jamie) with a couple that are a possible.

I was just on the website and it appears they have closed the small group reservations for the season. We could still do individual reservations, or just show up.

It’s your run Chris, so I’ll go along with your choice. I’m good with what ever.

Things are okay, I need my back to heal from the accident. I cant even drive 5 miles on the road without being in pain. I start my PT monday. Doc is already telling me surgery is the next step if I dont heal from the PT. So Till then I am going to be low key and hope I recover :/

That's no excuse, once you get to the trail, we only go a few miles per day. In all seriousness, get better soon.
