Thanks Jeff. Is this the only item?
Brad, do we have a budget for the raffle? I guess it just depends on how much the club wants to spend.
UPDATED:
Approval was $500. If you purchase multiple items, but under that limit, you can simply turn in your receipts for reimbursement.

OfflineSince the PM feature doesn't seem to be working, I texted everyone the registration link except Dale because I don't have his cell number.
@Jamie, I tried to post an Amazon link about the Trek raffle but I can't post it. I have had this same problem trying to post an Amazon link before. Is there a setting that prevents this? I won't be at the meeting this week so I tried to post a couple of links for the Trek raffle but I can't post them.

I have said that I want to make Sierra Trek, I didn't volunteer to be on any committee.

Dale, if you attend Sierra Trek and go on the Saturday Outer Limits run with the club, then you are effectively helping lead the run and that would make you eligible to be a "committee member". Committee members are just volunteers who help Cal 4X4 put on Sierra Trek, which is Cal 4X4's biggest fundraiser. Committee members get a registration discount of about $150 over the full registration price. So if you are planning to go and want to do the Outer Limits run, it would save you money to register as a committee member. The Outer Limits run is an easy to moderate trail and they say stock 4X4 vehicles can go on this run. We have had stock Tacomas, Jeeps, and Broncos on this run before. Essentially you would be somewhere in the group like you would be on any other run. If an attendee needs assistance, we committee members are their to help them out and make sure everyone gets through the trail safely and has a good time. Many of the attendees are novice off-roaders who really have a great time on the run and really appreciate our club leading this run and helping them out. We provide a lot of educational information and experience in the process.

OfflineDale, as I recall your Jeep is your daily driver. It would be fine for the Outer Limits run. If you are concerned about taking it on a more technical run at Sierra Trek, you could possibly ride along with someone else on the Thursday River Committee River Run which goes from Meadow Lake down winch hills 5,4,3 and then crosses the river were we have lunch, and then we go back up to Meadow Lake the opposite direction up winch hills 3, 4 and 5.

OfflineBeing this is my first year to be able to attend this, I am looking forward to it. If I could get the information on how to sign up as part of the club, that would be good. I am trying to figure this out. If I sign up with the club for Outerlimits, do I have to pay additional for the other days for just camping?

I have submitted a PTO request at work for Wednesday-Friday. Assuming I get all of those days, I will head up on Wednesday. I will not have a trailer or a ton of gear (I will be camping light), so anywhere I can park me Jeep will be good enough as a camp spot for me.

OfflineDale, please PM me your cell number on Facebook and I will send you the registration link for the committee member discount. I don't like to ask people to post their cell number on a public forum. If you stay in the campground with us, we split the campground fee between everyone in the group so it really doesn't cost much. This is a PG&E campground so that part technically has nothing to do with Sierra Trek. When you register the website is a little confusing. Where it askes what committee you're on, answer Saturday Outer Limits run. Where it asks what committee run you want to run, select Thursday Committee River Poker Run if you want to joint the rest of us on that run for us committee members. If there is a different run that you want to do, then choose what you want. Your registration fee includes dinner Wednesday through Saturday and breakfast Thursday through Sunday. You are on your own for all lunches and for Wednesday dinner. You can also order clothing, including a committee member tee shirt when you regiser. Please let me know if you have any questions.

After reading the thread a couple times, I am hoping this is the correct selection.
That looks correct Dale but I'm not sure what no registration option has been select means. Did you sign up for the Thursday Fordyce River Poker Committee Run? It is under the Committee Run field and is a non-required option on the registration page (link). You can log back in and check it and you can add or change it if you want to.

If you want to buy a committee tee shirt:Happy Monday everyone! If you are thinking of purchasing a 2025 Sierra Trek Committee shirt, here is a sneak preview of what they will look like this year! If you are a committee chair, please send this out to your crew. They are still only $12 again this year.
Hey Jeff, I never received a text. Do you have my number? I think you do. Also, I PM'd you not knowing it wasn't working.
