Something like this would be cheap to get printed.
Any other text ideas?
Looks good to me Kris. Not sure if we have enough time to do anything now, but maybe.
Dale Mogg, you live in Biggs?
Yes, why?
Just wondering cause that's far. I think you get the raw rearend award...

OfflineIf all goes well today (Thursday), Kathy and I are I'm going to take our trailer up to Meadow Lake tomorrow August 1st. I will try and get our usual spot. Who all are bringing up trailers? I know Roy and Romika are. I will try to get them the same site that they had last year if they want me to reserve it in advance. I have been told that there is a new camp host this year. In the past, the host, knowing that Sierra Trek is a special event, has let us reserve unoccupied sites to hold them for people coming up later in the week. Technically, you need to occupy the site in order to reserve it. Since I will have two vehicles I can reserve a minimum of two campsites. I will do my best to get a good location and flag off as much area as possible for others. There is an extra vehicle charge ($10?) but it is less expensive than reserving an entire campsite so I will try to get plenty of space for others in our club.
Don't forget to get a campfire permit if you plan to use a propane stove or fire pit or have a wood campfire. I believe you can only have a wood campfires in the campground at this time of the year but not outside of it so if you plan to camp outside of the campground just be aware. In both cases, you should have a fire permit for propane. Kathy will be heading back before Trek either on Sunday or perhaps as late as Tuesday. My son is coming up Sunday through Tuesday with his motorcycle (dirt bike). See you all there!
And remember, don't follow your GPS to Meadow Lake until you get to Webber Lake!!!!!

Thanks Jeff for setting everything up!
We plan to come to camp after the Saturday run hosting, and be there for the raffle. Can you or Kris grab my packet and tickets?
I will pick up your registration packet for you Brad.
Thanks! Can you buy extra raffle tickets? or the deluxe tickets to that special raffle?

Mykey and I are planning on arriving Thursday. Tent camping. Side note, I took out the balancing beads and that resolved my death wobble. I am planning on having the bronco to help with Saturday.
Awesome news! I ran balancing beads with my 40's and didn't have any issues. Can they go bad? or be defective?

I have heard that if they get wet they tend to clump, but I do the think that was the problem. Whatever the cause, I'll be there next week. Ultimately I need new tires then I will figure out the long term balancing solution. Everything I think I have some money saved, it goes towards the kids or the house before I spend it on myself.

Sorry for the late replies... Ive been swamped with work and adulting stuff ... Anyway, Sean and I are coming up Tues. Aug 5 in evening and tent camping (2 tents) through Sunday. We are planning Rivier Poker Run on Thursday. I can help on the Friday run if needed, or Saturday as planned. I think we can figure it out when we get there.
Looking forward to it.

OfflineI got here at 11:30am today (Friday August 1st) and there we only two campsites left in the campground. One was the same one that Roy and Romika were in last year. I'm saving that for them. The other one is the one on the opposite side of the bathroom next to the first campsite. I used caution tape to reserve a fair amount of space for our group. The campsite across the road from Roy and Romika is the one I had last year. The people are leaving Monday and I asked them to tell anyone who asks that we have dibs on it. Some of the campsites are taped off with none in them or a tent just to make them look occupied. Glad I came up today.

OfflineSaturday update: FYI, it wasn't too cold out last night and it is warming up fast now that the sun has come up. Roy and I both have Starlink so we should be able to cover the entire area where we will be camping. There is also some cell service from camp but it isn't real strong but it will allow you to communicate from camp. Jamie will bring a 16" chainsaw up on Tuesday. If anyone arriving sooner than that can bring up a chainsaw we can get a jump on getting firewood. Be sure to go outside of the campground when cutting wood as that has already been a problem this year. There is a new camp host this and she is nice but someone here for Sierra Trek gave her a hard time so now Forest Service law enforcement and PG&E (it's a PG&E) campground are are patrolling the campground on a daily basis.

I won't be there till Wednesday, and don't have a trailer or tent (hammock camping). If I can't camp with the group, I can set up elsewhere and walk over during the group events. Would a second saw be helpful?
I have a tent up here with me if you want to use it. Just bring a sleeping pad and sleeping bag if you want to use it.
